Vincent LeVien has been Director of External Affairs for DeSales Media Group and the Diocese of Brooklyn for over a decade. He played a crucial role in organizing Pope Francis’ visit to New York in 2015, overseeing logistical arrangements and facilitating the Pope’s movements throughout the city.
Upon learning of the Pope’s passing just before their scheduled departure, the LeVien family felt compelled to continue their journey to Rome. They paid their respects at the late Holy Father’s funeral and then traveled to Assisi to pray at the tomb of Blessed Carlo.
