The coffin will be closed on Friday, April 25, and the Funeral Mass will take place on the Basilica esplanade on Saturday, April 26. Following this, the “novendiales” will commence, featuring nine days of Masses in remembrance of Pope Francis, led by various cardinals and open to all who wish to partake.
