Colombia is gearing up to host the International Congress on Religious Tourism from May 5–19, focusing on the theme “Tourism and Development: Evangelization and Peace in the National Territory.”
The congress will travel to 10 cities, starting in Bogotá on May 5–6 and concluding in Santa Marta on May 18–19.
The congress is a collaborative effort by the Colombian Bishops’ Conference, the World Religious Tourism Network, and the Minuto de Dios organization.
Furthermore, this congress is part of the 2025 Jubilee celebration, which is centered around the theme of hope. The organizers highlight on their website that the event will provide an opportunity to contemplate faith, forgiveness, and hope in a global landscape of change and challenges.
