Exciting news! Members of Pope Francis’ medical team are set to address journalists from Rome’s Gemelli hospital this Saturday evening, marking only the second time they have spoken since the Pope’s hospitalisation last month.
At 6pm CET, the medical team will provide an update on the Pope’s health in the atrium of the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment. They have mentioned that the Pope is responding well to treatment but is not yet out of danger, and he will remain in the hospital for at least another week.
You can catch the live briefing on the Vatican News website or on their YouTube channel. The briefing will be conducted in Italian, with no simultaneous translation into English. However, during the previous press conference, the doctors did briefly answer a question in English.
For those who miss the live broadcast, the briefing will be available for playback on the Vatican News YouTube channel. Stay updated on the Pope’s health journey and join us for this important update!
