Experience the Vatican’s Lenten Sermons: “Anchored in Christ”
This year, a special invitation awaits all faithful souls seeking spiritual nourishment during the Lenten season. The Vatican’s Lenten Sermons, themed “Anchored in Christ. Rooted and founded in the hope of new Life,” will be held on the four Fridays leading up to Easter.
Breaking barriers, the Lenten Sermons for the Roman Curia are now open to all who wish to participate, with no tickets required. This unprecedented move was announced by the Prefecture of the Papal Household, welcoming believers to gather at the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall for a transformative experience.
For the first three Fridays, attendees can enter through the “Petriano” entrance, located at the border of Piazza del Sant’Uffizio and guarded by the Pontifical Swiss Guard. The sermons will commence at 9 a.m., led by Fr. Roberto Pasolini, OFM Cap, Preacher of the Papal Household.
The theme of this year’s Lenten sermons, “Anchored in Christ. Rooted and founded in the hope of new Life,” promises deep reflections and spiritual insights. Fr. Pasolini will delve into various topics, starting with “Learning to Receive – The Logic of Baptism” on March 21, followed by “Going Elsewhere – Freedom in the Spirit” on March 28, “Knowing How to Rise Again – The Joy of the Resurrection” on April 4, and concluding with “Expanding Hope – The Responsibility of the Ascension” on April 11.
Don’t miss this opportunity to nourish your soul and deepen your connection with Christ during this sacred season.
