
As the Spiritual Exercises of the Roman Curia near their conclusion, Pope Francis spent a peaceful night at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital, as reported by the Holy See Press Office.

The Press Office shared an update on the Pope’s condition on Friday morning, revealing that he had a restful night.
On Thursday, the Press Office mentioned that Pope Francis marked the 12th anniversary of his papacy with the healthcare staff caring for him.
Despite his hospitalization, the Pope has been actively participating in the Spiritual Exercises of the Roman Curia, joining via video link from the Paul VI Hall. The theme of this year’s exercises, led by Fr. Roberto Pasolini, OFM Cap, is “The Hope of Eternal Life.”
Throughout the day, Pope Francis receives high-flow oxygenation with nasal cannulas, while at night, he uses non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Another medical bulletin on the Pope’s health is expected to be released by the Press Office on Friday evening.
Since his admission to Gemelli Hospital on February 14 for bilateral pneumonia treatment, the Pope has been under observation and care by the medical team.
