Welcome Back the Nightly Rosary for Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square!
Exciting news! The nightly Rosary for Pope Francis’ health is making its return to St. Peter’s Square this Friday evening. This comes right after the conclusion of the annual Spiritual Exercises for the Roman Curia.
Starting at 7:30 PM, anyone who wishes to participate is welcome to join in this special Marian prayer for the Pope’s well-being. It’s been heartwarming to see several dozen people gathering each evening to pray for the Holy Father’s recovery from bilateral pneumonia at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.
Laypeople, priests, and religious have all shown their support in person, but for those who can’t make it to St. Peter’s Square, the Rosary is available for live streaming worldwide on Vatican News channels.
While the prayer service was temporarily moved to the Paul VI Hall at 9:00 PM during the Spiritual Exercises, it’s now back where it belongs, out in the open in St. Peter’s Square.
On March 6, Pope Francis himself sent a heartfelt audio message from the hospital, thanking everyone for their prayers and well wishes. “I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers for my health,” he expressed. “May God bless you.”
Let’s come together once again to pray for Pope Francis’ swift recovery and continued well-being. Your support and prayers truly make a difference!
