The Holy See Press Office shared that the Pope participated in the Spiritual Exercises of the Roman Curia via video link from his hospital room. Led by Fr. Roberto Pasolini, the Exercises are a source of spiritual nourishment for the Pope during his recovery.
Throughout the day, Pope Francis received visits from high-ranking Vatican officials, including Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin and Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra. He also attended Mass with his caregivers.
Despite facing a complex health situation, the Pope’s condition is stable with some gradual improvements. He is diligently following his medical treatment plan, which now includes solid foods.
