Welcome to the latest update on the health of Pope Francis! The Holy See Press Office has reported that the Pope had a restful night and is currently recuperating. It’s been a journey since he was admitted to the “Agostino Gemelli” Polyclinic on February 14, but he is being well taken care of.
This morning, the Pope started his day with breakfast, followed by his prescribed treatment and additional tests. He is still receiving oxygenation and is resting comfortably in his armchair. The outpouring of prayers and support from around the world has lifted his spirits, and he is in good cheer. Unfortunately, the upcoming jubilee audience scheduled for March 1 has been canceled.
Yesterday’s medical update showed a “slight improvement” in the Pope’s condition. The latest chest CT scan revealed a positive progression in his pulmonary health. The medical team continues with high-flow oxygen therapy and respiratory physiotherapy to aid in his recovery. The specific diagnosis remains private at this time.
