Welcome to a special evening of prayer at St. Peter’s Square! The Holy See Press Office has announced a heartfelt recitation of the Rosary for the health of Pope Francis, to be led by Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, at 9 p.m. tonight.
Join us as we come together in solidarity to pray for the well-being of our beloved Holy Father. The Vatican has called upon all Cardinals residing in Rome, along with collaborators of the Roman Curia and the Diocese of Rome, to gather in prayer at this sacred location.
Cardinal Parolin will lead today’s prayer session, as we unite our hearts and minds in seeking healing and strength for Pope Francis. The global community has shown immense support through prayers for his recovery, and the Holy Father himself expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during his Sunday Angelus address.
In addition to the evening Rosary at St. Peter’s Square, special Masses and prayer services have been held in various locations, including a Mass by Cardinal Baldassare Reina at the Papal Basilica of St. John Lateran and a rosary led by Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi at the Basilica of San Domenico in Bologna.
For those unable to join us in person, the prayer service at St. Peter’s Square will be broadcast live on Vatican News’ website and social media platforms. Let us come together in faith and hope as we lift up our prayers for the health and well-being of Pope Francis.
