Good news has arrived from the Vatican regarding Pope Francis’ health. A communiqué issued by the Holy See Press Office revealed that the Pope’s health is showing signs of improvement. Despite battling double pneumonia, he had a peaceful day at Rome’s Gemelli hospital.
The communiqué stated, “The Holy Father‘s clinical condition is showing slight improvement. He has no fever, and his hemodynamic parameters remain stable. This morning, he received the Eucharist and then dedicated himself to work activities.”
Pope Francis was admitted to Rome’s Agostino Gemelli Hospital on February 14th after initially being treated for bronchitis. The diagnosis of double pneumonia led to adjustments in his pharmacological therapy.
Matteo Bruni, the director of the Holy See Press Office, provided updates on the Pope’s health, clarifying that he has “focal pneumonia,” indicating limited infection areas in the lungs. Despite this, the Pope is breathing autonomously, and his heart remains stable.
Reports confirm that Pope Francis has been resting well at night, following his therapy regimen, and even getting out of bed to have breakfast in the morning. This positive progress brings hope to all those concerned about the Pontiff’s well-being.
