Today, we mourn the loss of a talented journalist and the voice of TG Zero on Radio Capital, Ilaria Iacoboni. Her colleagues have shared the heartbreaking news of her passing at the age of 49. Ilaria was a pillar of the newsroom, known for her professionalism, energy, and creativity. She brought joy and sunshine to the office every day. Despite battling multiple cancers over the past two years, she faced each challenge with courage and hope, supported by her partner Marco and 12-year-old son Tazio.

Originally from Naples, Ilaria moved to Rome to pursue her passion for journalism. She had a diverse career spanning newspapers, television, and radio. Her colleagues remember her as a kind-hearted and knowledgeable individual who always had a captivating smile. Ilaria’s love for art and history shone through in her work, whether writing articles or sharing insights on the airwaves.
