Pope Francis Hospitalized for Bronchitis Treatment
The Vatican announced on Friday that Pope Francis has been admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital for testing and treatment of bronchitis.
The 88-year-old pope was hospitalized after meetings with various individuals, including the Prime Minister of Slovakia.
Despite battling bronchitis for over a week, Pope Francis continued his duties, including presiding over a Mass for police and armed forces.
We pray for a quick recovery for Pope Francis as he undergoes treatment at the hospital.
