Recently, a meeting was held with the executive committee members in Seville, where they had the honor of meeting at Casa Santa Marta, the residence of the Holy Father who is currently recovering from bronchitis. During this meeting, the Pope emphasized the importance of ensuring that every action taken reflects the loving heart that beats within each of us.

Greetings from the Pope
Dear brothers in the Episcopate,
Mr. President of the Junta de Andalucía
Distinguished authorities, ladies and gentlemen,
As pilgrims in this Jubilee year, you have gathered to express gratitude for the success of the last International Congress of Confraternities and Popular Piety. The Pope shared his initial concerns upon hearing of your visit, as he had previously referred to you as “crazy” in a message. However, he was reassured by the positive impact of your initiative and welcomed you with open arms.
In his message, the Pope encouraged attendees to embrace this event as a prayer of praise, embodying an overflowing love that may seem unconventional but is rooted in deep faith and devotion.
Reflecting on the event, the Pope highlighted the importance of allowing the echoes of this gathering to resonate within families and communities. He praised the efforts of attendees in supporting charitable initiatives, such as a home for the homeless, where the heartbeat of a loving heart is always heard.
As the meeting concluded, the Pope reminded everyone to continue spreading love and compassion in all their endeavors, ensuring that society recognizes the unique dignity of every individual. He concluded with a blessing from Jesus and a prayer for the intercession of Mary, Mother of the Church.
