This grand event features various activities over the two days, including a mass led by His Holiness Pope Francis, scheduled for Sunday, February 8, at 10:30 am in St. Peter’s Square.
Attendance is free, and no tickets are required. For these special occasions on Saturday, February 8, and Sunday, February 9, there will be road closures and parking restrictions due to the concert at Piazza del Popolo tomorrow afternoon, expected to draw around 10,000 attendees, including government representatives.
Events scheduled for the Jubilee of the Armed Forces on February 8 and 9
The program for the Jubilee of the Armed Forces, Police, and Security Forces includes various events, such as the pilgrimage to the Holy Door at St. Peter’s. On Saturday, February 8, the Jubilee will take place at St. Peter’s Square both in the morning and afternoon, then moving to Piazza del Popolo from 3 pm onwards. On Sunday, the gathering will return to the Vatican. Here are the timings:

- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Pilgrimage to the Holy Door, with the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in designated jubilee churches based on language
- 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Welcome event with a band concert at Piazza del Popolo
Sunday, February 9
- 10:30 am: Holy Mass presided over by the Pope at St. Peter’s Square. Entry is completely free and does not require any tickets.
Road closures and restrictions in Rome for the Jubilee of the Armed Forces
For the concert tomorrow afternoon, February 8, at Piazza del Popolo, there will be changes to traffic flow and parking restrictions. Starting today, parking is prohibited on Viale Gabriele D’Annunzio, Via del Babuino, Via di Ripetta, Via Ferdinando di Savoia, Via Principessa Clotilde, Via Maria Cristina, Via dell’Oca, Via della Penna, Lungotevere delle Navi (from Ponte Matteotti to Piazzale delle Belle Arti), Lungotevere Oberdan (from Piazza Monte Grappa to Piazza del Fante), Lungotevere delle Armi (on the left side of the one-way street from Ponte Risorgimento to Ponte Matteotti), Viale Giorgio Washington (on the right side of the road in the stretch from Piazza del Fiocco to Piazzale Flaminio).
From 2 pm tomorrow, there will also be a no stopping rule on Viale Giulio Cesare, from Via Silla to Via Marcantonio Colonna.
