
Welcome to the Vatican’s Jubilee Event honoring military personnel, police, and veterans who have dedicated their lives to bringing hope to people worldwide. More than 30,000 individuals will gather in Rome for a two-day celebration filled with pilgrimage, music, and Mass at St. Peter’s Square.
Hosted by the Holy See Press Office, Archbishop Rino Fisichella shared the schedule for the event, emphasizing the importance of peace in today’s world. Delegations from over 100 countries will participate in the pilgrimage to the Holy Door, with special attention given to Operation Irini, a military mission supporting peace in Libya.
Embracing Hope and Peace

Fr. Saverio Finotti underlined the importance of chapels within foreign missions as places of pilgrimage, spreading the message of conversion and peace to military men and women across the globe.
