President Donald Trump has made an exciting announcement at the National Prayer Breakfast – the launch of a new Department of Justice task force aimed at combating anti-Christian bias. This task force, headed by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, will work to eradicate all forms of discrimination and targeting against Christians within the federal government.
Trump emphasized the importance of protecting Christians in various aspects of society, including schools, the military, government, workplaces, hospitals, and public spaces. He expressed his commitment to defending the rights of Christians and religious believers nationwide, stating that the task force will fully prosecute instances of anti-Christian violence and vandalism.
In addition to the new task force, Trump revealed plans to establish a presidential commission on religious liberty and a White House faith office to be led by televangelist Rev. Paula White, a longtime adviser on religion.
The event also saw the presence of families of Israeli hostages who were taken by Hamas terrorists in 2023. Trump addressed these families, promising to do everything in his power to ensure the safe return of all hostages. Noa Argamani, a former hostage who was freed in a daring raid, was also in attendance, with Trump attributing her survival to the grace of God.
Trump’s speech highlighted his administration’s focus on protecting religious freedoms and uniting the country under the common belief in God.
