Welcome to the Torreciudad Visitor Center! We are excited to share with you a sneak peek of our 2024 Annual Report, highlighting the incredible experiences and activities that took place last year. In 2024, Torreciudad warmly welcomed approximately 185,000 visitors from around the world, with peak months being August (32,300), July (20,500), and March (20,400), coinciding with summer holidays and Easter.
Exploring Different Cultures
A diverse group of visitors from 58 nations made their way to Torreciudad in 2024, accounting for 15.21% of total visitors, while the majority (84.29%) hailed from various regions of Spain. Notable countries of origin include France, Portugal, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Among Spanish visitors, Catalonia and the Community of Madrid were the top contributors, followed by Aragon, the Valencian Community, and Navarre.
Enriching Group Experiences
Visitors to Torreciudad included faith-based groups, families, and independent travelers in search of meaningful experiences. While organized pilgrimages continued to be popular, a significant portion (60%) identified with the “family and friends” category, planning their trips with flexibility and gathering information online. The appeal of nearby cultural, natural, and gastronomic attractions also drew many visitors to extend their stay in the area.
Embracing the Tourism Experience
Our commitment to promoting tourism in the region led us to collaborate closely with the Government of Aragon and provide visitors with a wealth of information on cultural routes, local cuisine, outdoor activities, and more. Torreciudad’s museographic spaces, including the “Live the experience of faith” Space and the video-mapping presentations, captivated over 36,000 visitors in 2024.
Additionally, our gallery of Marian devotions welcomed new images from various countries, enriching the cultural tapestry of Torreciudad. Digital outreach efforts saw a growth in social media followers, email subscribers, and positive reviews from visitors, reflecting the enduring appeal of Torreciudad as a spiritual and cultural destination.
