Welcome to the blog post for January 17, 2025, where we have some exciting news to share. The Holy Father Francis had a special audience with the Community of the Seminary of Cordoba (Spain) on this Friday.
During the audience, the Pontiff encouraged the seminarians to recognize the signs of hope that guide them on their journey of life. He emphasized the importance of sowing hope and reminded them that it goes beyond mere words of kindness or superficial gestures.
Below, we have included the heartfelt words of greeting that the Pope shared with the audience:
***
Greetings from the Holy Father
Dear brother,
Dear seminarians and formators,
The Holy Father welcomed the pilgrims of hope to his house during this Jubilee year. He spoke about the signs of hope that guide us on our journey, including the direction towards heaven, the dangers we may face, and the areas of refreshment along the way.
He encouraged the seminarians to persevere on the path of the Lord, just like Saint Pelagius did in the face of adversity. With Jesus as their support, they can be sowers of hope in the world.
The Pope also reminded them that sowing hope is a challenging but essential task. It involves following the path of Jesus, embracing the cross, and supporting each other as a community. With Jesus as their guide, they can overcome any obstacles and reach their desired destination.
May the words of the Holy Father inspire us all to sow hope in our own lives and communities. Let us trust in Jesus and walk the path of hope together, knowing that we are never alone on this journey.
