Exciting news for media professionals and communicators! The first jubilee event of the holy year is just around the corner in Rome. The Jubilee of the World of Communications will take place from Jan. 24–26, offering a unique opportunity for individuals in the media industry to come together and experience the graces of the 2025 Jubilee of Hope.
Participants will have the chance to attend various events, including an audience with Pope Francis. Journalists, video producers, editors, graphic designers, and social media managers from around the world are invited to make a pilgrimage to Rome to renew their faith and connect with like-minded individuals.
The schedule includes a penitential liturgy, a Mass at St. John Lateran Basilica, a pilgrimage to the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica, and a meeting with notable figures in the industry such as Maria Ressa and Colum McCann. The highlight of the event will be the audience with Pope Francis at Paul VI Hall.
Additionally, the Dicastery for Communication will host a cultural and spiritual meeting, followed by a live broadcast of vespers presided over by the Holy Father at St. Paul Outside the Walls Basilica to conclude the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. It promises to be a spiritually enriching and memorable experience for all attendees.
