It kicks off on January 15, 2025, at 7:45 PM with The Imitation Game, a 2014 film by Morten Tyldum. The story of mathematician Alan Turing, who decoded the Enigma code during World War II, explores the balance between science, politics, and moral dilemmas that still resonate today. How far can scientific power go? Guests: Mario De Caro (Roma Tre), Matteo Santandrea (Roma Tre), Roberta Vigni (ISPRA), with journalist Marco Gisotti as the moderator.
Continuing on February 12, 2025, a reflection on environmental conflicts, activism, and resistance with La donna elettrica, directed by Benedikt Erlingsson in 2018. Guests: Avv. Paola Bevere, Valeria Frittelloni (ISPRA), Prof. Giacomo Ravesi (Roma Tre), moderated by journalist Stefano Liberti.

On March 12, Il male non esiste, a 2023 film directed by Ryūsuke Hamaguchi, offers a glimpse into human and natural relationships. In the Mizubiki forest, the arrival of a multinational threatens the balance of a small community. Il sale della Terra, a film directed by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado, closing Cineclub Scienza on April 9, 2025. The film portrays the photographer Sebastiao Salgado, who captured the beauty of the world and its destruction by humans.
