Exciting News for Catholic University Students as the SEEK Conference Expands to Two Locations!
Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the annual Fellowship of Catholic University Students’ SEEK conference happening next month in two exciting locations: Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C. The national attendance for this event continues to grow, leading to this expansion.
The event website states, “After the growth of SEEK over recent years, we are thrilled to offer the opportunity to attend SEEK in locations that are more convenient to attendees around the country. Our regional SEEK location will provide the same quality of world-class speakers, the chance to connect with dynamic sponsors, and the opportunity to join a community of seekers and believers to worship, pray, learn, and connect in a regional setting.”
The Washington, D.C. satellite event from Jan. 2–5, 2025, is already sold out. While it will be similar to the Salt Lake City event, it will not include the “Making Missionary Disciples” (MMD) programming track designed for Catholic adults at any stage of their faith journey.
The MMD program, exclusive to Salt Lake City, is tailored for clergy, lay leaders, parish staff, FOCUS alumni, parishioners, and benefactors who desire to see deep transformation in Jesus Christ within their parish, diocese, family, or community.
Exciting speakers at SEEK25 in Washington include Father Chase Hilgenbrinck, Dr. Matthew Breuninger, Sister Miriam James Heidland, SOLT, Edward Sri, and Father Gregory Pine, OP. Additionally, the D.C. event will feature entertainment from Christian indie folk artist Jervis Campbell.
“SEEK has been gaining momentum,” says Jake Leins, the senior director of conferences at FOCUS, in an interview with CNA.
