Blessing of the New Vatican Broadcasting Van
With the presence of Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly and Paolo Ruffini, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication, Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, blessed a new, state-of-the-art broadcasting van donated to the Vatican by the Knights of Columbus.

Paolo Ruffini, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication, along with Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly, participated in the inauguration ceremony for the new mobile broadcasting unit donated to the Vatican by the Knights of Columbus. Cardinal Marcello Semeraro blessed the broadcasting van, expressing his gratitude for the Knights’ generous gift. Ruffini emphasized the importance of the van, designed to be ready for the Jubilee, to broadcast images from the Vatican and share the narrative of hope rooted in faith.
He extended his thanks to all whose generosity made the gift of the broadcasting van possible, emphasizing the importance of unity and communication within the Church. Supreme Knight Kelly highlighted that this is the fourth broadcasting van donated by the Knights to the Vatican, emphasizing the significance of spreading the message of the Holy Father and the Church, especially during the Jubilee Year.
Bringing the Pope’s Voice to the World
During an interview with Vatican Radio, Kelly expressed his honor in providing top-notch technology to reach people worldwide who may not have the chance to visit Rome. With the new broadcasting unit, the Pope’s voice and events from Rome can be shared globally. Kelly emphasized the Knights of Columbus’ solidarity with the Church and their commitment to spreading the message of Christ to the world.
