In response to these challenges, gatherings and events are being held nationwide to promote peace and solidarity among different religious communities.
These gatherings not only stand in solidarity with victims of religious intolerance but also serve as a platform for interfaith dialogue and unity. They aim to uphold the spirit of Christmas while fostering a vision of peaceful coexistence based on the principles of the Indian constitution.
Imphal mourns for Manipur victims calling for reconciliation
In Imphal, the Archdiocese mourns the victims of violence in Manipur and initiates efforts to reconcile conflicting groups. The “Mourning and Forgiveness for Manipur” event features prayers and expressions of solidarity to heal the wounds caused by recent violence.
