Get ready to immerse yourself in a magical experience at the Orto Botanico di Roma from November 30, 2024, to January 6, 2025. Trame di Luce is back, bringing a new twist to the holiday season with an innovative light art exhibition. Organized by IMG and Be.it Events, with artistic direction by the Be.it Events team, this edition features interactive installations with low environmental impact, created in collaboration with national and international artists and Italian universities. One exciting addition is a free storytelling experience accessible via QR code along the path.
This enchanting journey, suitable for all ages, showcases 22 light art installations, many of which are brand new, transforming the garden into an open-air museum. From pieces like “Luminaripainting”, a modern take on traditional Puglian Christmas lights, to “E luce sia”, a Christmas tree illuminated by 300 lanterns, the exhibits offer a diverse range of visual delights. Other highlights include the “Fontana del Tritone” featuring “Aetherea”, an interactive tree of life, and the “Gift Rush” installation capturing the festive spirit.
Complementing the installations is a unique sensory experience with a specially curated soundtrack that accompanies the journey with captivating melodies. The Light Village adds the finishing touch to the experience, offering a Christmas food area with food trucks and local products.
Access to the exhibition is available with online tickets (starting from 12 euros), with family and group packages. The show is open from Wednesday to Sunday, with special hours during the holidays, and closed on December 24, 25, and 31.
Opening hours are from 6 pm to 11 pm, with the last entry around 9 pm.
