Christian leaders are particularly worried about the escalating situation, as the Syrian army’s response has led to casualties and the destruction of the Holy Land College.
Celebrating St. Nicholas in Ukraine
To honor the feast of Saint Nicholas, Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk inaugurated the Saint Nicholas Residence in Lviv, Ukraine. The residence will host children until December 15, providing them with gifts and festive cheer amidst the ongoing crisis. The Church’s mission of supporting those affected by war remains steadfast, as they strive to bring joy to the young ones impacted by conflict.
Advent Commences in Jerusalem
