Exciting news from Vancouver, Canada! Father Paul Goo, the beloved pastor of Christ the Redeemer Parish in West Vancouver, has been selected to serve in the English-language section of the Vatican’s Secretariat of State starting in January 2025.
Vancouver Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, personally recommended Father Goo for this prestigious role, and the announcement was made in a letter to the archdiocesan clergy on Nov. 30.
Archbishop Miller emphasized the importance of loyalty to the Holy Father and the Apostolic See within the archdiocese and highlighted the honor of having a priest from Vancouver called to serve at the Vatican.
Father Goo’s appointment is for a period of five years, during which he will bring his dedication and zeal to his new responsibilities in Rome.
