The Synod participants have been actively engaged, proposing over a thousand amendments, known as “modi”, to the forthcoming “Final Document” that will culminate the work of the General Assembly. The writing group overseeing the document received around 100 amendments from individual synod members, complemented by over 900 suggestions from the Synod’s small working groups.
Updates on the final document’s progress were provided at the Wednesday press briefing at the Holy See Press Office, where Dr. Paolo Ruffini, the President of the Synod’s Commission for Information, shared upcoming voting procedures and the renewal of the Ordinary Council of the Synod.
