Welcome to a celebration of 30 years of the World Meeting of Families! The Church is commemorating this milestone with a special mini-documentary that takes us on a journey through the past gatherings under the leadership of three beloved Popes, while also looking forward to the next event in 2028.
Narrated by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Prefect of the Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life, this ten-minute film, produced in collaboration with Vatican Media, captures the essence of joy, faith, and unity that have characterized these historic gatherings. It serves not only as a nostalgic look back at the previous ten meetings but also as a valuable resource for marriage preparation and family catechesis.
Alongside the documentary, there are ten one-minute videos featuring key reflections from the Popes on themes such as joy, faith, and mission, inspiring families to deepen their spiritual journey together. As we anticipate the next World Meeting of Families in 2028, these videos remind us of the importance of keeping Christ at the center of our lives, just as families have done since the very first gathering in Rome back in 1994.
Celebrate with us as we honor the legacy of these gatherings and look forward to the future of family unity in the Church!
