Tragic news has hit the entertainment world as Paola Marella, the beloved architect and TV presenter, has passed away in Milan at the age of 61. This announcement was made by Davide Maggio’s TV news website. Marella, who had been battling cancer for some time, was born in Milan in 1963. She was one of the earliest faces of Real Time, known for her shows like “Cerco casa disperatamente” and “Vendo casa disperatamente”, as well as “Un sogno in affitto” on Sky Uno and “Come la vorrei” on Hgtv.
Her most recent post on Instagram was just three days ago, showcasing her dedication to her work until the very end. Marella was a prominent figure in the design world, and despite her illness which she had been fighting since 2011, she remained an advocate for prevention and courage in facing cancer. In a 2021 interview with Panorama, she shared her message of hope: “We must not be afraid, we are not alone, and even though illness may come, science has equipped us with the tools to fight back.”
