Today marks the launch of “ROAD Academy”, a talent development initiative conceived by ROAD – Rome Advanced District – the technological innovation district for energy transition located in the research hub of Gazometro in Rome Ostiense, alongside Accenture, a global professional services company, and partners Kilometro Rosso, Experis, and WTW.
ROAD is a network of companies formed in 2023 by Eni, Acea, Autostrade per l’Italia, Bridgestone, Cisco, Gruppo FS, and NextChem (MAIRE) to create the first technological innovation district in the Capital dedicated to new energy sectors and open to industrial collaborations applied in synergy with the world of research and academia.
Aside from fostering collaboration among R&D departments of companies, universities, research centers, startups, and innovative SMEs in the field of technologies for energy and digital transition, ROAD has also decided to initiate a training program for the human capital of the founding companies.
ROAD Academy will provide high-level training to the talents of the companies associated with ROAD, promoting the growth and enhancement of internal resources, benefiting not only the business but the entire ecosystem. The initiative also aims to identify new talents in the market, fostering exchange and collaboration between students, companies, and international districts.
The training program will address crucial themes for today’s market in its initial phase, such as digital & artificial intelligence, sustainability and sustainable finance, innovation management, venture building, and leadership.
With the acquired skills, talents will be able to contribute concretely to other ongoing initiatives of ROAD, fueling a culture of exchange, co-creation, and entrepreneurship.
