Preparations for potential attacks on Italian territory were noted by the army in an Arabic message to residents of southern Lebanon, urging them to be vigilant. In Italy, the New Zealand captain of a ship involved in a recent tragedy off the coast of Palermo has not yet received a formal notice of guilt but is expected to be informed soon by the prosecutor’s office.
