Welcome to an enchanting evening on the beach of Anzio, illuminated by the full moon, where the ninth stage of the Miss Italy Lazio finals tour took place to award the prestigious title of Miss Cinema Lazio 2024 within the 85th edition of the national Miss Italy contest. Miss Italy and cinema have always been an inseparable duo, linking the renowned competition to the world of movies through iconic figures like Gina Lollobrigida, Sophia Loren, Lucia Bosè, and more recently, Anna Valle, Miriam Leone, Francesca Chillemi, and Giusy Buscemi.
The event, held last night at the Tirrena beach establishment in Anzio as part of the “Tirrena Summer 2024” event with the sponsorship of the Anzio City Council, was organized by Delta Events, the exclusive agency for the Miss Italia competition in the Lazio region for over a decade.
The 17 contestants showcased various outfits inspired by the 70s Hippie style and the movie “Barbie”; they introduced themselves to the jury and through a brief individual performance of their choice ranging from acting, singing, dancing, skills, and personal views on current issues like identity, inclusivity, female empowerment, personal stories, they had the opportunity to highlight their personality, character, and talent.
The evening was hosted by Margherita Praticò with direction by Mario Gori, both vital forces in the Lazio competition, leading to recent successes in our region with national titles won by Alice Sabatini (2015), Martina Sambucini (2020), and Lavinia Abate (2022).
Special guests included the beautiful Federica Mora, crowned Miss Cinema Lazio in 2023 last year in Anzio, Soraya Galuppi, Miss Rocchetta Bellezza Lazio 2024, Lavinia Puggioni, Miss Sorriso Lazio 2024, and model Agnese Maria Lo Fazio.
The jury, including prominent figures like Francesco Tarricone, Luigi De Filippis, Lola Pagnani, and others, declared Greta Caretta as the Miss Cinema Lazio 2024. Greta, a 25-year-old Pilates instructor from Rome (Eur), wowed the audience with her empowering monologue on what it means to be a woman and embracing imperfections.
In second place was Clarissa Alesse, a 30-year-old from Rome (S.Pietro), who dreams of becoming an actress, a successful career woman, and a wonderful mother.
