The Reigning Queen: Beatrice Mazzoni, Miss Roma 2024
On a captivating evening in Rome, amidst the enchanting setting of the Arena del Teatro di Tor Bella Monaca, Beatrice Mazzoni, a 20-year-old Roman with captivating green eyes and brown hair, emerged victorious as the new MISS ROMA. Studying Public and Corporate Communication, her aspiration is to become a television program author. Last Tuesday, she outshone 20 other contestants, carefully selected by Delta Events, to claim her title and secure a spot in the national pre-finals of the 85th Miss Italy contest.
Claiming the second position was Arianna Ciamei, an 18-year-old from Rome. With brown eyes and brown hair, Arianna recently completed her scientific high school diploma and plans to pursue a degree in Engineering. She finds solace in the reading of classic and mystery novels.
Greta Caretta, a 25-year-old Pilates instructor from Rome, secured the third position. With brown eyes and brown hair, Greta holds a degree in Dance-Acting-Singing from America.
The Distinguished Panel of Judges
Zeudi Di Palma, Miss Italia 2021 (also Miss Napoli 2021), and Martina Sambucini, Miss Italia 2020 (also Miss Roma 2020), along with Maria Maiani, the founder of Maiani Accademia Moda, led the esteemed panel of judges. The 21 contestants were elegantly attired in dreamy creations by Maiani. The judging panel also included Valeria Mangani, former Vice President of Alta Roma and current President of Sustainable Fashion Innovation Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the ecological transition of the fashion and design industry through technological innovation.

Beside the judges, special guests, including Nicola Franco, Andrea La Fortuna, and Don Antonio Coluccia, reflected on the essence of Miss Roma Clashes against the backdrop of Tor Bella Monaca. Don Antonio Coluccia, a courageous priest advocating against organized crime and drug trafficking for 25 years, emphasized the value of life in a society often entrenched in death culture. His profound message resonated with the audience, underscoring the significance of appreciating life, youth, and women as the ultimate gifts bestowed upon us.
Moreover, Patrizia Mirigliani, the matriarch of Miss Italia, commended the re-location of Miss Roma to Tor Bella Monaca, highlighting the societal stereotypes against beauty combatting the effort she and Miss Italia Zeudi di Palma discussed in reference to Scampia. This refreshing move signifies a renaissance through the beauty of the contestants.
