During the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Games, American superstar Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance to the delight of the audience. Instead of performing Edith Piaf’s “La vie en rose,” she surprised everyone by singing a classic French music hall hit, “Mon truc en plumes” by Zizi Jeanmaire.
The French can can kicked off with dancers dressed in shades of pink and fuchsia, dancing along the Seine River, near Ile Saint-Louis. The audience joined in, clapping along to the rhythm of the most famous cabaret dance in France.
