U.S. Congress Investigates Security Failure
The House and Senate legislators in the U.S. are taking action to investigate the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, demanding documents and testimonies from U.S. secret services. According to the Washington Post, the House Oversight Committee, led by Republicans, has requested an investigation and summoned agency director Kimberly Cheatle to testify on July 22nd. President Biden has also ordered an independent investigation into the Secret Service’s operations.

Trump: ‘A Different Speech in Milwaukee’

I’ve been given this chance,” he stated. Trump revealed that the speech he was supposed to give on Thursday would have been amazing if the incident had not occurred. He mentioned that it would have mainly focused on President Biden’s policies. “Honestly, it will now be a completely different speech,” he explained.
