Apart from this monumental event, he is keen on meeting with the President of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eduardo Enrique Reina García during his visit. The Archbishop also has plans to engage with the members of the Episcopal Conference of Honduras on the same day.
To wrap up his visit on a spiritual note, Archbishop Peña Parra will be leading a Mass for the bishops at the Basilica of Suyapa on Saturday, July 13. Such a momentous occasion underscores the significance of this trip for both the Church and the country of Honduras.
