Welcome to an exciting event happening on July 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Consistory Hall of the Vatican Apostolic Palace. The Holy Father Francis will be presiding over the celebration of the Tertia and the ordinary public Consistory for the canonization of the following Blessed individuals:
– Manuel Ruiz López and seven companions, of the Order of Friars Minor, along with Francisco, Mooti, and Raffaele Massabki, lay faithful martyrs.
– Giuseppe Allamano, a priest and founder of the Institutes of the Missionaries of the Consolata and the Missionary Sisters of the Consolata.
– Marie-Léonie Paradis (born Virginie Alodie), founder of the Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family.
– Elena Guerra, founder of the Congregation of the Oblates of the Holy Spirit, also known as the “Sisters of Saint Zita.”
– Carlo Acutis, a lay faithful individual.
This momentous occasion was approved by Francisco on May 23.
