Are you ready for a unique and enchanting experience in the heart of Rome? On Saturday, June 22nd, just a few hours after the summer solstice, you can join the Full Moon Bike Ride to explore the city under the magical glow of the full moon.
This night ride, known as the Strawberry Moon Ride, promises a one-of-a-kind adventure for cyclists of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to cycling, this event is open to everyone with a bike and a passion for pedaling.
Here are a few guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience during the Full Moon Bike Ride:
– Experienced cyclists are encouraged to lead the group and protect the bikes from cars at intersections.
– Children and new cyclists will ride at the front of the group at a leisurely pace of 10km/h.
– If you prefer a faster ride, you can ride at the back and then catch up with the group.
The meeting point is at Piazza del Popolo at 8:00 pm (unless otherwise indicated due to another event in the square). The ride will kick off at 9:00 pm, offering a unique perspective of Rome under the enchanting glow of the full moon.
