A Sweet Celebration: Ferrero Introduces Nutella Ice Cream to Mark 60 Years of Deliciousness
Get ready to indulge in a new frozen treat this summer as Italian confectionery giant Ferrero unveils Nutella Ice Cream, hitting supermarkets in Italy at the beginning of June.
The launch of this delectable ice cream variant comes three years after Ferrero delighted taste buds with Ferrero Rocher and Raffaello ice cream sticks, as well as Estathé Ice lollies. As the iconic hazelnut chocolate spread Nutella celebrates its 60th anniversary, Nutella Ice Cream arrives in a 230g tub, priced at €4.99 for the ultimate indulgence.
Alessandro Paleni, Ferrero’s regional ice cream marketing manager, describes the new gelato as a “frozen delight” that perfectly blends the “iconic and familiar taste” of Nutella with “a surprising twist of textures inside”. Five years ago, Ferrero introduced Nutella Biscuits in Italy, selling an astounding 47 million packets in its inaugural year and struggling to keep up with the high demand.
