After the successful conclusion of the first edition of World Children’s Day – a two-day event that brought together young children from all corners of the world in Rome – Pope Francis took the time to express his gratitude to those who made this international gathering possible.
As per a statement from the Press Office, this afternoon, in the Paul VI Hall, “Pope Francis met with the people and groups that have collaborated in the realisation of World Day of Children over the past few days.” The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and appreciation as the coordinator of the event, Father Enzo Fortunato, the deputy coordinator, Aldo Cagnoli, and Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, all extended their thanks to the Pope and the volunteers.
The statement concluded by highlighting, “At the end of the meeting, Pope Francis gave all those present his blessing.”
It was truly a memorable moment for all involved, a day filled with love, unity, and the shared joy of making a difference in the lives of children around the world. We look forward to creating more memories and spreading more happiness in the future.
