Experience Cinema In Piazza in Rome’s Beautiful Piazzas This Summer
Get ready for an enchanting cinematic experience as the outdoor movie theater Cinema In Piazza returns to Rome’s stunning piazzas, bringing back the magic of open-air cinemas from June 1 to July 14.
Featuring 92 screenings, 20 special events, and 13 retrospectives, this year’s festival, organized by the Piccolo America Association, promises a diverse and engaging program that caters to both locals and tourists alike. Screenings in the original language with Italian subtitles add an authentic touch to the event.
Don’t miss the retrospectives honoring cinema legends like Ingmar Bergman, Suso Cecchi D’Amico, John Ford, Greta Gerwig & Noah Baumbach, John Landis, Hirokazu Kore’eda, Steven Soderbergh, and Denis Villeneuve. For the younger audience, classics like Looney Tunes will also be featured.
Expect to see a stellar lineup of guests, including Darren Aronofsky, Giuseppe Tornatore, Sam Rockwell, Bertrand Bonello, Julie Taymor, and many others, making this year’s edition a must-visit for film enthusiasts.
