Pope Francis also acknowledged Archbishop Celso Costantini’s pivotal role in organizing the Council, which led to fruitful collaboration between the Holy See and the Church in China, benefiting the entire Chinese community. The Council’s decisions were not about changing strategies but aligning with the Church’s mission.
Spreading Peace and Love through Faith
The Pope encouraged Chinese Catholics to emulate Jesus’ teachings by promoting peace and goodwill in society through compassionate actions. In a world plagued by discord, their faith should guide them towards building a harmonious community for all.
