Rome Jewelry Week, now in its third edition, will once again grace the Eternal City from 6 to 15 October 2023. This prestigious event celebrates the contemporary and historical jewelry scene in Rome, drawing artists and admirers from around the globe.
Get ready for a week filled with mesmerizing events that bring together renowned jewelry designers, master goldsmiths, jewelry ateliers, and esteemed academies. The highlight of the week is the stunning display of awe-inspiring creations by talented artists.
At the heart of this year’s Rome Jewelry Week is the theme “Second Life”, where tradition meets innovation to give old objects new meaning. Witness the fusion of art, creativity, and modernity breathe life into each piece.
Organized by the Incinque Open Art Monti association in collaboration with Rome’s Municipio I and renowned cultural institutions, this year’s RJW promises to be a spectacular showcase of contemporary jewelry.
The prestigious Incinque Jewels Award ceremony, dedicated to promoting contemporary jewelry culture, will be held at Trajan’s Market.
The event kicks off on 6 October with an exhibition titled “Ri-Trovamenti. Il gioiello tra Roma e Valenza” featuring works from the Neo Roman School of Contemporary Jewelry and the Valenzani Master Goldsmiths.
Don’t miss the guided tours of Rome’s neighborhoods (rioni) from October 10 to 14, where you can explore goldsmith ateliers and witness timeless techniques passed down for generations.
