The French government has called on Israel to end the operation in Rafa, open the border, and return to ceasefire talks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern over the Israeli attack in the southern city of Gaza and described the military operation as a threat to cause a catastrophic situation for the civilian population of Gaza.
