Welcome to the second World Meeting on Human Fraternity, where peace and dialogue are at the forefront of our discussions. Scheduled for May 10-11, this event will bring together 30 Nobel Prize winners and key figures from international organizations to explore the theme of #BeHuman.
The event, organized by the Fratelli Tutti Foundation, will host 12 thematic panels across various locations in Rome and Vatican City State. These panels will cover a range of topics, including environment and businesses, sports and the non-profit sector, information and work, health and digital, education, local administrations, and food safety, all with a common focus on human fraternity.
Participants at the meeting will engage in dialogue with scientists, economists, doctors, managers, workers, sports champions, and ordinary citizens from around the world. Together, they will seek alternatives to war and poverty while exploring the concept of fraternity in social life.
One of the highlights of the event will be a roundtable discussion titled “Children: Future Generation” with Pope Francis at 5 pm Rome time. This session will be livestreamed for all to follow.
The gathering will also feature a musical performance in the portico of St. Peter’s Basilica, showcasing talents like composer Giovanni Allevi, Italian singer Roberto Vecchioni, and American country icon Garth Brooks. The event, set against the backdrop of St. Peter’s Basilica, promises to be a fitting conclusion to two days of meaningful discussions and interactions.
Join us as we come together to promote peace, understanding, and fraternity in a world that continues to strive towards a more harmonious existence. Let’s make a difference, one dialogue at a time.
