Welcome to a unique and spiritual experience coming to Mexico this year! In light of the current conflict in the Middle East, Magdala is bringing a taste of the Holy Land to Puebla from July 25 to 28. This event, called Encounter Magdala, will take place in a state steeped in religious history, with Puebla boasting over 500 churches and an 80% Catholic population.
Get ready to embark on a journey of faith and devotion guided by Archbishop Victor Sánchez. Designed as a preparation for the 2033 celebration of Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection, this event is centered around the pillars of Sing, Walk, Share, and Celebrate. Through pilgrimages, prayers, songs, and spiritual companionship, participants will deepen their connection with Christ’s love and strengthen their Christian faith.
Experience a night of captivating music featuring renowned artists such as José Ignacio Martínez and Paola Pablo, who will perform songs like “Teach us to pray” and “Rain of Grace”. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Holy Land through mesmerizing performances and videos.
Explore the charming cities of San Pedro Cholula and Santa María Tonantzintla, as well as historical landmarks like the temple of San Francisco Acatepec. Join a pilgrimage from Tecali de Herrera to Cuautinchan and partake in Eucharistic Celebrations, spiritual talks, and a night of adoration and praise at the University Cultural Complex of BUAP.
